I dislike AR2205 as it leaves a lot of burnt residue and is only just satisfactory.Īs you have stated I have found faster powders better and have settled on Red Dot as I have heaps. However as you have said the 128 grainer is even better. I am one of the lucky ones who gets good groups out of the 122 grainer, quite a few do. The 128gr has been found excellent by all who have used it in my club, whereas the 123gr just "rattles" down the average Cadet bore 323 for the 128gr., and it makes a huge difference in performance. The significant difference is the diameter. Hawkesbury make two sizes, 123gr and 128gr. 25 Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bore for its age with STRONG RIFLING. Roberson Cartridge Company is a custom manufacture of Vintage, Obsolete, Hard to Find and Wildcat calibers. ![]() ![]() 125 grain bullet at 1,200 fps with 400 ft.-lbs.
